Thoughts on ePortfolios

I love the concept of ePortfolios. It is a place to collect thoughts, projects, processes, and plans. It gives purpose, personalization to the learning, a platform for reflection, as well as organization. I really enjoyed watching “Who Owns the Learning” TED Talk that spoke to purpose and legacy. When sharing with a broader audience, collaborating on shared product, or even influencing the real world around us, humans rise to the occasion. We need to embrace this shift in education and let the students do the heavy lift through active learning and problem solving. I am thinking still working on the organization of my ePortfolio, and would love some feedforward as I grow in my craft.
