Pulling at the heart

,

I have watched this video several times, and every time it causes me to reflect more. The “why” attached to feelings needs to be very clear and intentional to get the desired behavior(s). As I look at the trends in my district recently, we are always talking about the “thinking” side of the brain with the “how” and “what”, and not yielding the results we desire. I am super excited to see how this plays out with a profound “why”. When Dr. Kottor speaks of “60/40”, it is helping me prioritize and still keep focused on all parts of Sinek’s golden circle. The challenge now is winning over both the hearts (60%) and the minds (40%). For some reason these percentages are helping me stay focused.
